Summary

This page explains how to request deletion of data related to Kelola Pesan, including workspace, contact, WhatsApp, attachment, automation, and Instagram integration data.

These instructions are also provided to meet Meta Data Deletion Instructions URL requirements for apps using the Instagram API.

Disconnecting Instagram

  • Sign in to Kelola Pesan using a valid username and license code.
  • Open the workspace connected to the Instagram account.
  • Open Social Media, then Instagram.
  • Click Disconnect to remove the Instagram connection from the workspace.
  • After disconnection, Kelola Pesan marks the Instagram connection as disconnected and removes the active webhook mapping.

Requesting Deletion by Email

To request deletion of specific data or an entire workspace, email kelolapesanofficial@gmail.com with enough information for the Kelola Pesan team to verify workspace ownership.

  • Name or username used in Kelola Pesan.
  • License code or workspace identity.
  • Workspace WhatsApp number, if relevant.
  • Connected Instagram username, if relevant.
  • The type of data to delete, such as Instagram data, contacts, chats, attachments, automation, or the entire workspace.

Data That Can Be Deleted

  • Instagram connection data, including encrypted access token, username, profile picture URL, permissions, connection status, and active webhook mapping.
  • Instagram event data, including webhook payloads, comment IDs, commenter usernames, comment text, automation matches, private reply logs, and delivery errors.
  • Contact and segmentation data, including names, phone numbers, emails, group IDs, and custom fields.
  • WhatsApp chat data, including conversations, message content, senders, message status, and conversation metadata.
  • Blast, bot, sequence, job, and delivery logs related to a workspace.
  • Attachments or files uploaded to the Kelola Pesan library.
  • Number validation data and validation job results.
  • External API keys related to a workspace.

Data That May Be Temporarily Retained

Some data may be temporarily retained when needed for security, audit, backup, dispute resolution, legal obligations, abuse prevention, billing, or service operations.

  • Security, error, and audit logs needed for investigation.
  • Billing, administrative, or legal data that must be retained.
  • Anonymized data that no longer identifies a specific user or workspace.
  • System backups until the next backup cycle is completed.

Processing Time

Kelola Pesan will review and process deletion requests within a reasonable time after verification. The target processing time is up to 30 days, unless additional time is needed for technical, security, legal, or data volume reasons.

Deletion from Meta or Instagram

Users may also remove Kelola Pesan access from Instagram or Meta settings under Apps and Websites. Removing Meta access may stop Kelola Pesan from receiving events or accessing Instagram data, but users may still contact Kelola Pesan to request deletion of data already stored in Kelola Pesan.
